Welcome to the 10th
Aviemore Walking Festival which will take place from 13th to 18th
May 2012. The Festival offers a variety of guided walks from gentle strolls
through forests and along loch shores to challenging high level mountain
walks in the breathtaking Cairngorm Mountains.
Aviemore nestles in the start of the
River Spey between the stunning mountain massif of the Cairngorms and the
vast haunting expanses of the Monadhliath, both often capped with spring
snows. We can offer crystal clear rivers and lochs which sparkle from the
shadows of the magnificent Caledonian pine forests of Rothiemurchus,
Glenmore and Abernethy.
Join us in our varied programme of
walks through spectacular highland scenery. You will experience the finest
scenery Scotland has to offer, rivers, burns and lochs, a varied display of
spring flowers and an abundance of wildlife.
